06/09/05 - Men found stabbed in street
TWO men had to be taken to hospital with stab wounds after an incident during the early hours of the morning. The men were found with stab wounds in Black Prince Avenue, Market Deeping, on Sunday at about 2.20am.
Lincolnshire police were called and the injured men were both taken to hospital for treatment, one was taken to Peterborough District Hospital and the other to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. Their main injuries were lacerations to the hands.
The man being treated in Addenbrooke's remained in hospital today The 42-year-old, from Market Deeping, is getting treatment for wounds to his hands.
Five people were arrested by police just one hour after the two victims were discovered. They have been released on bail and are due to report back to police at a later date.
