Dear Bernard
The reception staff at Romeike's Peterborough office have passed on to me your request for details of the tree planted in memory of Emma.
The tree was planted by Peterborough City Council Parks Department earlier this year. It was decided that Emma's colleagues at Romeike would appreciate somewhere to pay their respects within walking distance of the office.
The tree is planted near to the northern entrance to Central Park in Peterborough. Parking on Park Cresecent, opposite the entrance to Peterborough Regional College, take the footpath towards the centre of the park. Shortly after entering the park there is a footpath crossing, turn left here.
The tree is planted on the right hand side of this footpath,' between the path and the tennis courts, approximately 50 metres from the entrance to the park. The ree is marked by a plaque bearing the message 'In loving memory of Emma'.
I have enclosed a map of the location described above.
I have passed details of this morning's telephone calls to Deborah Armstrong, Romeike's Director of Human Resources. It is not acceptable for any Romeike staff to be sworn at or otherwise abused under any circumstances. Any future communication with Romeike should be by letter only.
Yours sincerely
Neil Wareham
