Dear Mr O'Mahoney
I write further to my previous correspondence.
Firstly, I feel I must apologise for not writing to you
before now. I understand that the Sunday People published
a correction and an apology to you in its 17 February
edition and made a further private agreement in settlement
of this matter.
I must say how pleased I am that, admittedly after some
time, your complaint has been brought to a satisfactory
conclusion. I will close our file on the case and a summary
will shortly appear on our website and in our biannual
report.
