Billy Loban: Following the murder of Arthur "Fat Boy" Thompson, Glasgow's Godfather Arthur Thompson senior blamed Paul Ferris and put a price on his head. Unfortunately for Thompson Ferris was incarcerated and so Thompson settled for second best.

He recruited Billy Loban to lure Ferris's best friends Billy Glover and Joe "Bananas" Hanlon out of their homes to a meeting. The following morning Hanlon and Glover were found murdered in a car outside a pub that was on the route of Arthur Thompson's funeral cortege. Billy Loban left Glasgow and has been on the run ever since as he fears friends of the murdered men will exact their revenge if they ever see him.
