Dear Bernard,

Thanks for your letter dated February 3rd which I received at the office this morning. May I say up front how keen the show, Jameson Tonight, is to help in the case of poor James Fallon.

We feel the best way to publicise his plight is by way of the Boxing Night you mentioned in the letter. Ideally, we would like Derek Jameson to interview two of the names you pointed out who are supporting the event, namely Charlie Kray and Buster Edwards.

Would it be possible for Mr Kray and Mr Edwards to appear on our show on Thursday March 22, the night before the Boxing Night. If this is possible, please either write back at the above address or call me on 01-465-0104 (day) or 01-494-4679 (studio number from 5.30pm).

Then we can sort out details like payment of appearance fees, and cars to collect the pair and deliver them to the studio on show night. Also, we would like to use the video if possible (was it the one shown on the ITV London programme on the Krays on Friday 26 January?).

I look forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,
Roger Kasper Researcher.
