- Law now bent on protecting killer
Letter sent to Hartlepool Mail
WHEN Shaun Armstrongs claim
for compensation is heard in the Royal Court of Justice
in London, I hope they appreciate what justice is about!
Surely they should realise if they are not brain-dead
to set in motion a chain of events that could
lead to, in effect, a bounty for the killer who sexually
abused and then killed three-year-old Rosie Palmer!
Its still a free country so I am surprised that
anyone can be found to work on behalf of a monster like
Shaun Armstrong, who claims his human rights have been
infringed.
First of all he does not qualify as a human being. Secondly,
what human rights did he extend to little Rosie?
Though when his trial came up he had every right to
a defence and for that to be paid for by the public,
this case of him trying to sue author Bernard OMahoney
is a different matter entirely and we the public should
not be expected to pay for that!
Any self-respecting solicitor or barrister ought to
say I want no part of something that can lead
to a bounty for a creature like Shaun Armstrong.
It remains to be seen what the Royal Court of Justice
will come up with, but I will be surprised if it shows
any common sense!
Although when Armstrong was let out of hospital saying
he would kill, the law failed to protect little Rosie
at that point, now the law seems bent on protecting
and rewarding her killer!
