Flyer for court case O`Mahoney
re Armstrong
SUFFER THE CHILDREN

Shaun Armstrong claims, that when he confessed to abducting,
sexually abusing, murdering and then mutilating an innocent
three-year-old child, he did so in confidence. I can only
assume his position is, that when he then wrote and explained
his evil plot to evade justice by feigning madness so
he would serve as little time as possible, this was also
in confidence.
How wicked of me to tell the Police that Armstrong had
led a three-year-old child away to an unimaginable death.
How wicked of me to ruin his plot to commit perjury and
evade justice.
Using public money, Armstrong now brings me before this
Court as he and his Solicitor, Mr. Elkan Abrahamson of
a.s. Law, Liverpool, believe I have breached Armstrong's
'right' to confidentiality and violated Armstrong's 'right'
to respect for his private and family life.
For these wicked violations, Armstrong has asked for 'no
more than £15.000.00p in damages'. Being a long-term
prison tenant, perhaps he needs the money to purchase
his cell under the right to buy scheme.
Perhaps he plans to invest it as a little nest egg for
the day he is released? It is a thought that is almost
laughable, but who knows what the future holds. The craving
in this country to 'respect everybody's rights' has turned
into a shameful circus.
Peoples 'rights' are being rammed down our throats whilst
people's wrongs are being conveniently overlooked. I have
always believed those that commit crime and are sentenced
to a term of imprisonment lose their liberty.
Liberty, according to the dictionary, means, freedom and
'having the right'. Armstrong's sentence therefore, is
not being served in the manner society expects. His heinous
crime is going unpunished, as he has not lost any of his
rights if we are to believe his Solicitor.
The real victims in this matter are three-year-old Rosie
Palmer and the many people who knew and loved her. According
to the Human Rights Act, which Armstrong and Mr. Abrahamson
now rely on, Rosie and her loved ones have been deprived
of many if not all of their rights.
When Armstrong extinguished Rosie's life after satisfying
his depraved lust, he deprived her of article 2 in the
act, 'her right to life'. When Armstrong allowed his dog
to repeatedly bite Rosie whilst he was raping her, he
was depriving little Rosie of article 3 of the act, 'No
one shall be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading
treatment or punishment'.
When Armstrong abducted Rosie as she purchased an ice-lolly
outside her home, Armstrong deprived Rosie of article
5 of the act, her, 'right to liberty and security'. Finally,
Armstrong deprived Rosie and those who loved her of their
right to article 8 of the act, 'their right to respect
for private and family life'.
The rights the Palmer family once enjoyed are no more;
Rosie's Mother is serving every cruel day of her undeserved
sentence. Today Rosie should have been a young girl looking
forward to starting senior school. Rosie's whole life
lay before her, but her life is no more.
Rosie Palmer lies in her grave, whilst Armstrong comes
to this Court and bleats about his 'rights'. Whatever
happened to Rosie's rights? I respect the Court and I
accept it has to operate within the confines of well meaning
laws.
However, if Judgment is made against me, I cannot morally
accept any course of action in favor of Armstrong. I believe
the public will be outraged and quite rightly so. I believe
somebody has to make a stand against these 'people' who
appear to want to dance on their victim's graves.
I am prepared to make that stand. If by refusing to accept
Armstrong has suffered damages I am sentenced to a term
of imprisonment or any other punishment, then so be it.
With respect, I shall not conform with any demands made
against me.
If an action is morally right and just in the favor of
the majority, the law, if not supportive of that action,
must be sidestepped and later changed. I would urge the
Government to look at the 'rights' of those who have lost
their liberty and compare them to the loss of the victim's
families, who appear to have no rights.
What is the point of imprisoning people if they enjoy
the same rights as the decent and good? If Armstrong had
a shred of remorse and was a man seeking rehabilitation,
we would not be here today.
Armstrong is a vile sub human beast, whose depraved crime
placed him under scrutiny from the police, the media and
the general public. Armstrong, and Armstrong alone, destroyed
his 'right' to a private life.
I hope justice succeeds today or it may open the door
for criminals to agree confidentiality pacts before embarking
on a joint criminal venture. It may allow the vilest of
murderers to sue the very people who helped bring them
to justice.
Murderers such as...
Michael Stone, whose prison confession to a fellow inmate
concerning the murder of Lynne and Megan Russell led to
his conviction.
Howard Hughes, who abducted, sexually abused and then
murdered little Sophie Hook. Hughes confessed to his Father
that he was guilty, that confession, led to Hughes conviction.
Richard Blenkey, who abducted, sexually abused and murdered
seven-year-old Paul Pearson Blenkey confessed to me in
correspondence that he was guilty, that confession led
to his conviction.
David Copeland, the homophobic, neo Nazi who planted three
nail bombs in London maiming many and killing three people.
Copeland confessed to me in correspondence that he was
guilty, that confession led to his conviction.
For the victims of these crimes and others, I hope common
sense prevails today. I hope too, that Armstrong's action,
which shows a total lack of remorse for Rosie Palmers
death, is brought to the attention of any future parole
board so that, God permitting, he will never walk amongst
our children again. |
