MAXINE Carr should not be allowed to profit from a TV interview, the MP for Soham said yesterday.
Carr's lawyers are reportedly in talks for her to speak about her role in the investigation of the murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.
South East Cambs MP Jim Paice said an interview was not illegal but added: "I don't believe anybody should make a profit from this tragedy." It is not known whether Carr will seek payment.
Carr, 26, is serving three and a half years for lying to protect her ex-boyfriend and murderer Ian Huntley.
She is eligible to be freed on May 17 but has applied for early release. |
