In the Main section you will find information about
books Bernard O'Mahoney has wrote, forums to ask Bernard
O'Mahoney any question about anything found on this site,
a chat room where you may talk to others that come to
this site.
In the Essexboys
section you will find articles, documents, media and photographs
in relation to events in Essex which took place during
the late 1980's and the mid 1990's. Although the majority
detail the Rettendon Range Rover murders and the death
of Leah Betts, there are many others which focus on lesser
known events.
'So this is Ecstasy?' the book in which O'Mahoney first
told this story in 1997, was updated and re-released as
'Essex Boys' in 1999 to highlight the plight of Mick Steele
and Jack Whomes. It's release also coincided with the
release of the film of the same name.
In the Dream Solution
section you will find articles, documents and media
in relation to the death of 21 year old Alison Shaughnessy
who was brutally murdered by Lisa and Michelle Taylor
on June 3rd 1991.
In the Soldier of the Queen
section you will find articles and media in relation to
O'Mahoneys book, "Soldier of the Queen." It
is not a typical military read as O'Mahoney was not a
typical soldier. The first six chapters cover O'Mahoneys
childhood and his teenage years where everything revolved
around violence. It is a dark but at times amusing journey.
