At 1915 hours on Friday 081295 I was on duty with other members of the Police Search Team when I attended 49 Gordon Road, Basildon.

At 1930 hours on the same day I and a colleague PC 425 MONTGOMERY commenced searching a Mercedes motor vehicle E532NMO which was standing on the private drive associated with the above premises. I started searching the driver's side whilst he searched the passenger side.

At 1947 on the same day I was searching the pocket situated in the drivers door of the vehicle when I found a piece of paper with handwritten notes on it. I seized said piece of paper which I produce as exhibit BGW/1. I took this paper into the kitchen of the house where I gave it to the exhibits officer for the search.

Having done so I returned to continue the search of the vehicle. At 2016 hours on the same day I was searching a pocket made out of netting material fixed to the rear face of the drivers seat when I found a clear plastic wallet containing papers.

One of the papers related to a Tony TUCKER, others were Jangles invoices and mobile phone bills. Others related to Motorola phone bills and Hire Note documents. I seized all the above and produce them as exhibit BGW/2.

I took all of the above mentioned items and gave them to the exhibits officer. We finished searching the car but I did not find any other items.
