I live at the address overleaf. This is a cul-de-sac in Rettendon Village. I live at home with my mum, dad and two younger sisters. The family have lived at our present address for eight years. I know the area well, often going for walks in the area. I have walked the bridleway where the three men were found dead on several occasions, sometimes on my pedal bike.

I cannot recall the last time I went along it, but it would have been late summer or early Autumn. Between 1900 hours and 1910 hours on Wednesday 061295, I left my house to go for a walk. I wanted to go and see the snow covered countryside. I was wearing a black and green padded zip up jacket, probably jeans, blue or black and white 'Nicks' training shoes.

I would of worn grey woollen gloves I did not wear any headwear. I walked to the top of my road and turned right onto the A130 heading towards White House Farm. I walked along the pavement, through the village. I continued to walk towards the farm.

I looked ahead and could not see much, so I decided to turn around and walk back through the village. I was about fifty metres short of the bridleway, on the same side of the road as the bridleway, when I decided to turn around. It was dark, snow was on the ground although it was not snowing at that time.

Traffic was average for the time of night, but going slightly slower because of the road conditions. I do not recall seeing anybody else walking or any cars turning into or out of the bridleway. I cannot recall seeing any movement in or around White House Farm.

I certainly did not hear any gun shots. I continued walking back and onto Battlesbridge. It started snowing lightly. I returned home around 2030 hours.
