About 1940 hours on Friday 081295 I was on duty in full uniform. I attended the scene of a murder at a farm track, Whitehouse Farm, Rettendon.

On arrival I saw PS 1970 GARRETT and PC 873 COWAN. PC 873 COWAN handed to me the log book. About 2000 hours I was joined by SO 5890 WOOTTON.

About 2300 hours SO 5890 WOOTTON and I were relieved by PC 2319 HAMMOND and PC 174 GREEN. I handed the log book to PC 2319 HAMMOND and left the scene.
