P THEOBALD (SIGNED)

I live at the address overleaf which is a single storied 3 bedroomed bungalow which is situated on Main Road, Rettendon, the A130. I live there with my husband William Henry THEOBALD. Situated at the rear and in the middle of the house is the bathroom.

This faces out onto open field land and the Pheasant Shot of White House Farm. I can't remember what day this week but it was either Monday 041200 or Wednesday 061295, I went into my bathroom to run a bath sometime between 1900 hours and 1930 hours.

Just before I got into the bath I heard the sound of one single shot from a shotgun. This was definitely a shot because my husband as been shoting shotguns for at least 30 years and I am use to hearing the sound. I can only remember the sound of one shot and I come from somewhere at the back of the house, but I cannot be more specific then that.

I didn't think this was unusual because of where we live there is always someone out shooting small animals. Where I live is next door to White House Farm which is owned by my brother-in-law Peter Daniel THEOBALD and he is the owner of the Pheasant Shot.
