At 2218 hours on Thursday 071295 I was on duty in company with PC1571 OSBORNE when we attended Workhouse Lane, Rettendon. There we relieved PC's 921 DOWSELL, 471 LEE and PC273 PRIDMORE. I took possession of the log sheet.

PC OSBORNE stayed at the entrance to the lane whilst I guarded the scene. At 0215 hours on Friday 081295 APS3119 attended the scene to take over. I handed the log to her. PC3106 took over from PC OSBORNE at the entrance to the lane. We left the scene.
