??/??/?? - Woman 'saw knife killer stalk Alison'
By MIKE SULLIVAN
The Sun

THE killer of bank clerk Alison Shaughnessy may have been spotted stalking her, police revealed last night.

A woman passer by told officers she saw the murderer on the night Alison was stabbed to death.

The sighting was revealed as police quizzed hundreds of commuters who saw a lookalike tracing the victim's last movements in a reconstruction.

Alison's killer is believed to have followed her from Barclays Bank in the Strand, central London, last Monday night.

The 21-year-old brunette was stabbed 14 times with a 5 and half-inch knife at the door of her flat in Battersea, South London.

She was not sexually assaulted and nothing was stolen from her home. Police are baffled by the attack.

Yesterday, Alison's husband John, 29, branded her killer a monster and begged for help in catching him.

Speaking for the first time since he found his wife's bloodstained body, he said: "Whoever is responsible for this is not human." "My wife would not hurt anybody. She didn't deserve this."
