W
Hello.
M
Hello - its Bernard.
W
Hello.
M
Hiya I thought someone was going to call me back.
W
I haven't managed to find anything out, that's why I didn't phone
you back.
M
Oh, and Ray said he was going to call.... and Ray said he was
going to call me back and all.
W
Oh, I don't know anything about that - I haven't seen them.
M
Oh. Well, they're in Devonshire Road if you're looking for them.
W
I don't see them every day.
M
If no-one's said anything, well, I'll just do what I am going
to do now.
W
I don't know what you're talking about.
M
Oh well - alright.
W
Can you please explain.
M
I know its them, I've got proof its them - um - if they don't
want to ring me. I aint going to have that for a year and let
it just go - right - they go to the bother of ringing me and saying
why they did it or apologising for why they did it - then - fair
enough, right - I'm just going to do what I said I'm going to
do.
W
Yeah, but I haven't done anything.
M
No - I'm not saying you - But I just thought - like - you could
ask them about it and they would ring me - but obviously they
aint bothered - see, they think I'm going to forget it. But as
I say, I'm not going to forget it.
W
I haven't spoken to them about it yet because I've been trying
to find out myself with that list. And I said I don't see them
every day.
M
Well it's quite easy for me to see them. I'll just go round 174
Devonshire Road and see them. But I don't see why I should go
- they've put me to enough trouble already in the past 12 months.
W
Well what, what can I do? Tell me what to do and I'll do it.
M
I just want to ask them about it and if they deny it, then fair
enough, then I'll just prove otherwise. But if they have done
it they should at least have the decency to ring me and apologise
about it.
W
Yes, I agree. Yes, I agree. Did you ring last night?
M
Who, me?
W
Yeah.
M
Um - I did, yeah.
W
You did?
M
Yeah.
W
Somebody asked for Ray and Lisa, but I said they're not here.
M
I just wondered - I wanted to speak to - because I spoke to him
at length on the phone.
W
Have you?
M
Yeah.
W
Oh, I'm sorry - I didn't know that.
M
..... If he's saying - no - well it can't be just him because
one night two calls were made from two separate places - but,
he knows all about it anyway.
W
How can I speak to him then?
M
Yeah.
W
And still I haven't spoken to them yet because was trying to see
if I can find anything out from British Telecom, but they won't
tell me anything. You see all I've been told is you have to fill
a form out or something and go to the police station.
M
Yeah - you do, yeah.
W
You know - that's all I know - I was trying to find something
out before I got back to you. And that's why I haven't rung. I'll
have a word with them - I'm sorry I don't know anything about
it - this is what I tried to explain to you before.
M
Yeah - alright then.
W
Uhh - I'll speak to 'em and I'll ask them to ring.
M
Alright then. Well if they don't - well, if they aint - well,
they're denying it and then whatever happens after is nothing
to do with them.
W
Yeah, well I can't see Lisa doing it love.
M
Well, I don't know - I don't know who is living in that house.
If there are only two of them living in that house then yes, it
is her.
W
Well, I can't see Lisa doing it. I really can't, and I know Michelle
hasn't done anything.
M
If she aint in Devonshire Road it can't be her.
W
No, she's not love, and she hasn't done anything.
M
Well it aint her then.
W
I'm really sorry about this. As I explained before, I don't know
anything about it.
M
Right. Well, just see what they say and if no-one gets back to
me then I'll know that they are denying it and I will prove otherwise.
W
That's fine - that's up to you, isn't it.
M
Yeah.
W
You know - I know I haven't done anything wrong.
M
No - no calls have come from there.
W
Uh - anybody is welcome to check our telephone bill 'coz all calls
are itemized.
M
None have been traced to you so it don't matter anyhow.
W
Well you know I haven't done anything.
M
No, I aint saying you have - no.
W
You know because to me that's
M
Well, if they had never been to that club then it is fat boy.
W
What, my two?
M
Yeah.
W
The girls have never been up there love.
M
Oh well - someone better speak to him then.
W
And I can honestly say that on my
M
Well one night someone rang the Club for him and he was there
and within 10 minutes we got a call from Devonshire Road which
lasted over 5-10 minutes at 12 o'clock at night. So it aint just
him - alright - well just see what he says anyway.
W
Yeah - I will do.
M
Alright then. See you later.
W
'Bye.
M
'Bye.
