Further to my statement dated 130691 I can recall about two years ago John SHAUGHNESSY and I were chatting and we discussed pensions. John told me that he had a policy with Allied Dunbar and suggested that I should also have a pension and gave me a name of a man at Allied Dunbar called Gerard SEABROOK.

I later took out a policy as did my fiance of that time. Moving to the 030600 this year when Alison died, when I spoke to John at the Clinic that morning he mentioned that he was giving up the flower arranging at the Clinic to spend more time with Alison. That afternoon when I went shopping I wasn't wearing a watch. I returned to my room at about 1700.

The reason I returned at that time was because I wanted to watch ' Neighbours' on TV which starts about 1730. Having entered my room I can recall smoking a cigarette and sitting down for between 10 to 15 Minutes, I had switched on the TV by then but I can't recall what was on, although I'm positive ' neighbours' had not started.

It was at this time that Lisa and Michelle TAYLOR arrived at my room. Once in my room they both smoked a cigarette each, Michelle smokes 'Silk Cut' or "Berkeley Blue" and I believe she smoked her own that day. The three of us were discussing my forthcoming birthday party and I told them what I had bought from the shop.

Lisa stayed with me throughout the evening, however Michelle left my room alone. She said "I'm going to do the flowers with John" and may have looked at her watch as she said it. I cannot recall the exact time she left as I was not wearing my watch or looked at a clock but I assumed that it was 1800 o'clock as I stated in my previous statement, as that was the normal time that Michelle helped John with the flower arranging.

I would estimate that Michelle stayed in my room for about half an hour but I can't really remember. I can't recall now what Michelle was wearing but I do remember Lisa wearing 'Fils' trainers, red in colour and a matching red T-shirt.

I should also mention that when Lisa and Michelle entered my room that afternoon, Lisa mentioned that they had been shopping, I think she said in Lewisham and that she (Lisa) had met a friend and may have spoken to that friend, but I can't recall any other details.

On 040691 I was at work at the Clinic when Mr Alan TUCK the Purchasing Manager contacted me and told me that Michelle was at the Clinic and wanted to get something out of my room. I can't recall the time but it was before 1200 noon. I then went to my room with Michelle and Lisa who were waiting for me in the foyer.

Lisa had left her overnight bag in my room the night before as she had intended staying with Michelle in her room but because of Alison's death had gone home instead. In my room I asked Michelle how she was, she said she was fine and told me that when they had found Alison she had stab wounds all over her body and blood everywhere.

Lisa spoke to me about being in my room the night before and the time that they, meaning her and Michelle, were with me, I can't recall the exact words but it was similar to "it was about 1715 when we were here wasn't it." Lisa and Michelle then left, Lisa having collected her overnight bag.
