Dear Mr O'Mahoney,
The Metropolitan Police is currently undertaking the review
and in some cases the subsequent re-investigation of unsolved/unresolved
murders within their area. The events surrounding the tragic
death of Alison Shaughnessy in 1991 is now being reviewed
by this office in an effort to identify any further investigative
opportunities.
I understand that you have had contact with the Metropolitan
Police Service on a number of occasions following the successful
Appeal in 1993 of the Taylor sisters. The letters that form
that contact are in my possession. In this regard, I would
like to ask you to contact this office at the above address
in order that we can meet with you and discuss this information.
