Much obliged. There are no other persons present in this

by my watch is 10.41am. We are in the interview room at
Battersea Police Station At the end of this interview, I

dealing with this tape recording and how you can have access
to it. I shall now caution you Miss TAYLOR that means you
are not obliged to say anything unless you wish to do so,
but what you say may be given in evidence. Do you understand
the caution?
LT
Yes.
DS G
L Now the, before I say any more, I must state on tape that
the interview has been delayed due to the fact that I was
getting refreshments prior to the interview commencing.
Also prior to the interview starting, uh, Mr HOLMES informed
me on your behalf, Miss TAYLOR, that since making a statement
previously to police, you don't wish to answer any questions
during the course of this interview. Is that correct?
LT
Yes.
DS G
L Okay. Before I go any further actually, the officer here,
Miss SMITH, the arresting officer this morning, made some
notes with regard to your arrest at your home address, and
she'd like you to read those notes and to obviously sign
them as being correct if you agree with the content. Can
you do that now whilst the tape is running please?
MH
We'll do it together.
DS G
L Okay.
MH
Um, does it start on this page, number 10?
WDC S
At the top. The top there, that's the notes where I made
them, and the details there.
MH
There, right, right. Can you read that? Let's read it together.
That's the Act of Parliament under which the warrant of
your arrest was granted. That's what that means. Okay?
MH
Finished the page?
LT
Yes.
MH
Not too much more.
LT
Right.
MH
You've finished?
LT
Yeah.
MH
Now what you're being invited to do by Mr GLEESON is having
read that through, if you agree that that is an accurate
record of what took place, to sign it if you wish. It is
entirely a matter for you. First of all, is it accurate?
LT
No.
MH
You're shaking your head no.
LT
No.
MH
Well in that case uh, I think it's fairly indicative tht
she's not going to sign.
DS G
L Indeed? Fair enough. But obviously you've had the offer
of reading them haven't you?
MH
Yes.
LT
Yeah.
DS G
L If I may just quickly summarise the events of this morning
Lisa. As you're aware, I, my colleague and other officers
attended your home address which is 76 Kemble Road,
LT
Yes.
DS G
L It's in Forest Hill. Um, I spoke to your mum and dad as
a resu

L were both arrested for the murder of Alison SHAUGHNESSY,
yes?
LT
No comment.
DS G
L Um, you were subsequently removed and brought here to
Battersea Police Station. When I returned to the police
station, I'd actually searched your room in the presence
of your mother, I showed you various items of property in
the Custody Office, which basically were a quantity of trainers
and shoes and some bank correspondence which you Identified
as being yours. Do you agree with that?
LT
Yes.
DS G
L Right. In fact, it's fair to say that some of the shoes
are in fact, I believe there was one single trainer that
I believe is worn by Tracey or/and Michelle, Yeah?
LT
Yeah.
DS G
L Okay. Are you prepared to discuss your family composition
with me

either late last year or early this year you were working
for a short period of time at the Churchill Clinic?

DS G
Where your sister Michelle is currently employed as a domestic
cleaner?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You recall a week or so ago you were in this police station
and you were interviewed, or it may well have been Earlsfield
police station, where you were interviewed by colleagues
of mine as a witness with regard to Allson SHAUGHNESSEY's
death, do you recall that?
LT

DS G
As a resu

to police previously when you were interviewed as a witness.

find the date, sorry on 24th July which is about 2 weeks

And as a resu
LT
of that you made a fairly lengthy statement, in fact two
statements to police, which I've got copies before me.
LT
No comment.
DS G
During the course of making those statements, you gave a
history to police of your family composition, that you,
Mum and your younger sister Tracey, whose 12, and your sister
and the brother who lives elsewhere. Is that correct?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You went basically through your schooling years, and spoke
about from being, from 12 years on you joined a martial
arts club. I
DS G
believe it's um, jujitsu, and in fact I believe you trained
for some four years and became attained the sort of rank
of a blue be

, is that correct?
LT
No comment.
DS G
When questioned about your previous employment you spoke
about working in the Accounts Department at Churchill Clinic,

and a half maybe ago as a Sales Ledger Clerk. Do you recall
that?
LT
No comment.

And your sister Michelle was also working there at the time
as a Brought Ledger Clerk.

DS G
Subsequently, as a resu
LT
of problems at home, as a resu
LT
of problems at home, Michelle, who at that time was living
at home, moved into the residency at the hospital, the clinic
I should say. Do you recall saying that?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You left the employment of the Churchill Clinic stating
that you'd had a personality clash with your supervisor,
a lady called Anne Mary OWENS.
LT
No comment.
DS G
Moving on through your statement, you were asked about um
John SHAUGHNESSY and uh, Alison SHAUGHNESSY, his wife, who's

long conversation with Miss TAPP, and she tells me, told
me quite a bit about you that she became friends with your
sister Michelle, through working at the clinic and subsequently
as a resu
LT
of being friends with Michelle, you came on the scene and
uh, she became quite friendly to you a
LT
hough she's mainly your sister's friend. Is that correct?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You were asked about Alison SHAUGHNESSY, and you stated
that you first met Alison on a day trip to France, which
apparently had been organised by the Churchill Clinic. You
said in your statement, "I would describe Alison as
a very pleasant person, who appeared to be very loving towards
John." Is that a fair comment?
LT

with John and you were asked about the affair between your
sister and John.

LT
No comment.
DS G
You were also asked by the officers what Michelle's feelings
were when in fact, she learned of John SHAUGHNESSY's engagement
to um, Alison, who was then Alison BLACKMORE, prior to getting
married, and you said that Michelle was quite upset and
it took her quite some time to get over it.
LT
No comment.
DS G
But as long as John was happy, she was happy as well. You
were aske about the engagement party, or either birthday
or engagement party which apparently was for John SHAUGHNESSY
and which your sister, I believe certainly organised and
partly paid for, and you stated in your statement that you
actually helped her with regard to the party Is that correct?

Is that a fair comment?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Going back to when you were working at the Churchill clinic
when you had a falling out with uh, Anne Marie OWENS, your
supervisor. Is that correct that you went to or sought advice
from Michelle with regard as to what you should do because
you were going to be dismissed from your job?
LT
No comment.
DS G
How would you describe your relationship with your sister,
Michelle
LT
No comment.
DS G
Do you look up to her?
LT

uh Alison SHAUGHNESSY was murdered, and you gave quite a
detailed account in your statement to the officers as to
what your movements were on that day with you sister Michelle.
Can you recall that?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You stated that you were both working for dad in the morning
over at the Arndale Centre at Wandsworth about 6 o'clock,
and then went for breakfast after 7 to MacDonalds, which
seemed to be a fairly regular routine according to your
father's statement and from there you did some work in Woolworths,
is that correct?
LT
No comment.
DS G
And from there you went over to Sanderstead Fire Station
where you did some cleaning with stripping the floors, polish
and repolishing which your dad confirms. Is that correct?

DS G
Having returned home, mum and dad were there and you wanted
to go shopping to Bromley 'cos you wanted to buy a dress,
party dress I believe, for JJ's, meaning Miss TAPP's birthday.
Is that correct?
LT
