DS
G
and changed, and you put on a red T-shirt, blue jeans and
red trainers. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
The red trainers you wore that day, are they the pair of
red trainers I showed you which you identified as yours
in the charge room this morning?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Do you own a pair of red trainers?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Then you talked about changing into a, as I say, a red T-shirt,
blue jeans and red trainers and Michelle put on a black
track suit top, zip, which had a zip in the hood, black
T-shirt, green track suit trousers and her pink and white
Nike trainers. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You further stated about 3pm, you both left and went shopping
in Bromley in Michelle's car, which is a white Ford Sierra
Estate. You believe it's a 'Y' reg. but you don't know the
actual registration number. Is that, is that correct?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You went to Bromley and you parked the car, you said you
went into about 7 or 8 shops, but you didn't buy anything.
LT
No comment.
DS G
You recall going into the Body shop, that was the only shop
you can remember visiting. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You further stated that uh, we - meaning you and Michelle,
were walking past MacDonalds when you saw a man you know
whose first name is Philip, whom you describe as a black
Rasta, you just know him to say hello and pass the time
of day with, you described him and said he was driving a
little red Ford car. He asked what you were doing in Bromley,
that sort of thing and drove on. Is that correct?
LT
No comment.
DS G
A
LT
hough you couldn't recall what shops and so forth that you'd
been to, you stated to the officer when you made a statement
that this was about 4.20 because I looked at my watch.'
And there was also a clock on one of the building meaning
on the buildings in the shops in Bromley. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You can't remember any of the shops you went to to look
for dresses?
LT
No comment.
DS G
And you apparently didn't like them because they were too
low cut, is that fair comment?
LT
No comment.
DS G
But you can remember the time?
LT
No comment.
DS G
That's rather strange isn't it to remember the time where
you are specifically but not remember any of the shops you
went into?
LT
No comment.
DS G
I would have thought when girls and women go shopping for
clothes and things they are far more au fait to what sort
of shops they're
DS G
visiting than men are. But you can't remember any of the
shops?
LT
No comment.
DS G
That's just another one of your lies isn't it?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Moving on from 4.20 where you looked at your watch, and
at this stage, you stated in your statement 'we were walking
back to the car You left Bromley, traffic was heavy and
you drove straight to the Churchill clinic where you arrived
at 5.20. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Did you go back to the Churchill clinic at 5.20?
LT
No comment.
DS G
A
LT
hough it's your right Lisa to make no comment because you
have been cautioned, and it's obviously your right in law,
it, uh, I find it rather strange going through the statement
you made, the fact that ironically, that you're very good
with times, and very bad with places you'd been to. How
did you know it was twenty past five Lisa?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Have you got a friend called Tessa JORDAN?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Can you recall making arrangements with this Tessa JORDAN
on that day for any particular reason?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You further stated that when you got back to the clinic
you and Michelle entered the clinic and Michelle went to
her room initially
DS G
you went to JJ, meaning Miss TAPP's room, and JJ, I beg
your pardon, Michelle subsequently joined you and JJ in
JJ's room where you sat and had a chat and spoke about JJ's
forthcoming birthday and she was talking about or telling
you about the drink and stuff she had bought for the party,
meaning her birthday party. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Can you remember if the television was on?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Can you remember what programme was on TV?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Do you watch 'Neighbours?'
LT
No comment.
DS G
You further state that during the course of the period you
were in JJ's room, that you stayed and that your sister
left and went off to do the flowers with John SHAUGHNESSY
in the clinic. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Just so you are aware of what I'm talking about Mr HOLMES,
for your benefit basically, um, Monday nights at Churchill
Clinic, John SHAUGHNESSY has an extra job and does the floral
display on Monday nights. Lisa's sister, Michelle, helps
him to do this usually between sort of 6 and 8 o'clock in
the evening. This is a regular thing on a Monday evening
basically.
MH
Thank you for the explanation.
DS G
Right. And just adding to that in fact, her sister does
admit that she helped to do the flowers that particular
evening.
MH
Uh huh.
DS G
Um, going back to your statement Lisa, that um. you um,
stated at that um, your sister um, left the room and went
off to do the flowers with John SHAUGHNESSY. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You stated you also made a phone call, which is outside
your sisters room, is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You phoned your friend Tessa. Did you make a phone call?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You said, "Michelle left JJ's room at about 6 o'clock
or just after. I went back downstairs to ring my mother."
Now your mother's made a statement, obviously as you're
aware, and mum says that she spoke to you on the phone just
after 6 o'clock, when 'Neighbours' had basically finished,
that's why she remembers it was 6 o'clock. Is that a fair
comment?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You further stated you went back to JJ's room where you
both chatted played Monopoly, and that about 7.30 yourself
and JJ left her room and went to the off licence which is
beside the Ship pub, to get some chocolates and crisps.
Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You talk about going to visit the reception area where John
and Michelle were doing the flowers and you asked them if
they wanted anything from the off licence. They said they
didn't basically,
DS G
you went off with JJ to the off licence, bought some packets
of crisps and chocolate bars, JJ bought a diet coke, and
then you got back to JJ's room at about 7.45. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Do you deny making this statement?
LT
No comment.
DS G
So that's not a no is it?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You state that at about five to eight, Michelle came back
into JJ's room, went to the toilet, had a cigarette and
told you she was taking John home in her car. This was about
8.15. Is that right?
LT
No comment.
DS G
She was going to collect some flower pots from the house.
LT
No comment.
DS G
Have you ever been to Varden's Road?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You stayed in JJ's room and when you subsequently received
the phone call, your Mum phoned you and told you to stay
with JJ, that something had happened to Alison. And mum
stated to you that she was on her way to the police station,
meaning Battersea Police Station. Can you recall that conversation
on the phone?
LT
No comment.
DS G
You subsequently received a second phone call from your
sister Michelle fairly soon after your mum phoned and after
that phone call JJ was with you, you were upset because
of the fact that Michelle had told you that Alison SHAUGHNESSY
had been murdered. Do you
DS G
remember that phone call?
LT
No comment.
DS G
Can you remember being told that Alison had been killed?
LT
No comment.
DS G
I will just stop there if I may actually. The tape is just
about to run out. The time is 11.11am. I'll stop this interview
for the moment.
