DS GLEESON
Can you state for the purposes of the interview Miss TAYLOR, that nothing has been discussed during the course of the tapes being switched over.

L TAYLOR
Yes.

DS G
Yes meaning that nothing has been discussed?

LT
Yeah.

WDC SMITH
Can you just verify the time again.

DS G
Sorry, 4.27.

DS G
As I said to you a moment ago, as I said to you a moment ago, your sitting there thinking to yourself, 'JJ's my friend, JJ's Michelle friend, JJ wouldn't, wouldn't say these things to police.' But do know from what I've said to you, that I'm telling the truth? Because you know from your chat to JJ when she got back that evening that she was at her mother's.

That you were already in the room, your sister's got a key to her room. When we searched your house this morning, there's some keys we took away, which your mother said pointing to a particular key, and said I believe that's a copy of sorry, not a copy, that's the key, a spare key to JJ's room.

DS G
You know you were on the balcony, you know you waved to JJ when you saw her coming, I can't be making this up, I can only be telling you from what you already know in your head. But you sit there and front me out as much is 'Well, everybody's lying.' Your friends are lying now.

The hospital staff? JJ? Does it mean anything to you, the fact that we're discussing a young girl whose been murdered? There's no emotion in you, there's nothing to you at the moment. We may as well be talking about a trivial offence sitting here. You and your sister drove to Vardens Road and you killed Alison, you and your sister killed Alison.

I don't know who stabbed her of the two, but I know you were there, and I know your sister was there, because these people put you there don't they? You're not in Bromley, you're not at the Clinic, you come back. Ironically the following day, the 4th June, you go back to the Clinic with your sister to pick up your alleged overnight bag. Your sister confirms that, you say so in your statement. Do you remember going back to pick up your overnight bag on the 4th ?

LT
No comment.

DS G
Which was in JJ's room?

LT
No comment.

DS G
And you said to JJ words to the effect out of the blue, 'It was 5.15 yesterday we were here, wasn't it?' But JJ doesn't make any significance, it means nothing to JJ when someone says that. It makes a lot of sense to us sitting here, but JJ just didn't register Why should someone say, "It was 15?" You've already spoken about

DS G
So when Michelle, when JJ gets spoken to by police? 'Oh yes, they were there at quarter past five thinking I remember it was quarter past five because they said they were there at quarter past five.' She didn't know you'd been elsewhere.'But you were here with us JJ weren't you?' We both know where you were at a quarter past five don't we?

The question I asked you about this morning about your friend? Tessa JORDAN in your statement. 'I rang Tessa JORDAN at five thirty.' What an alibi you've got. You've got JJ at quarter past five and you've got Tessa JORDAN at half past five. How could you be elsewhere? You're at the Clinic, you have to be at the Clinic. JJ confirms quarter past five, Tessa will confirm half past five.

Isn't it strange that JJ says, "Lisa went to phone her friend. I didn't go with her, but she told me she was going to phone Tessa." "What time was that JJ?" "Half past 7." Not half past 5, half past 7. Back to times again aren't we? She's been to see your friend. Your alibi Lisa has gone out the window. You've got nobody.

You've got you and your sister saying you were in Bromley with some guy you gave a wave to or a hello to in the street. Carol HEALEY 10 past 4 leaving. Valerie MacDONALD 6 o'clock or thereabouts back. JJ - 7 to 7.15 arrives back. Not 5.15.

You're saying, "I made my call to my friend at half past 5. JJ will say, "I don't know who she phoned, but she said she was going to phone her friend Tessa JORDAN, but it was half past 7." Not half past 5. So we've lost it haven't we, it's gone. There is no safe haven any more. It's gone completely. You're out in the open. Is there much point in me continuing at the moment Lisa?

LT
No comment.

DS G
Are you prepared to answer any questions if I give you time to consu

LT
with your solicitor?

LT
No comment.

DS G
Have you ever been to Vardens Road?

LT
No comment.

DS G
Have you ever been to John or Allson SHAUGHNESSY's flat in Vardens Road?

LT
No comment.

DS G
It's not a trick question is it?

LT
No comment.

DS G
Have you ever been to dinner for a meal, invited back for a drink?

LT
No comment.

DS G
When you went to the Clinic on 3rd June, you stated that you were actually going to stay the night. Why did you leave your overnight bag in JJ's room as opposed to your sister's room?

LT
No comment.

DS G
We know the bag was looked into. The black polythene bag I believe a black plastic bag. It had your night dress and bits and pieces on the top. Did it have your nightdress and bits and pieces on the top?

LT
No comment.

DS G
But there was obviously a lot more to the bag, because the bag was heavier than just a night dress and bits and pieces. But JJ doesn't know what else was in the bag. What was in the bag Lisa?

LT
No comment.

DS G
And why go back for that particular bag on the day after? Why go back to JJ's room on the 4th for that bag. What's so significant about that bag?

LT
No comment.

DS G
What was in that bag besides your night dress? Blood stained clothing? Um? Weapon? Knife? Was the knife in the bag Lisa?

LT
No comment.

DS G
Because if the wheel came off on the night of the 3rd and your sister or anyone else was arrested, they'd search her room at the hotel, at the Clinic. Of course, where's your bag? It's in JJ's room. Because nobody suspects JJ of being involved in anything, so you're safe. What was in the bag Lisa?

LT
No comment.

DS G
We know there's more than your nightdress and your bits and pieces. Was it your change of clothing? Or was it Michelle's change of clothing? Did you both change after killing Allson? Did you?

LT
No comment.

DS G
You're in floods of tears on the 3rd when you're speaking to your sister, and come the day after, all you're concerned about is getting your nightie. Let's get rid of it before anybody finds it. Whose idea was it to kill Alison? How often did you discuss it? Who stabbed her Lisa? Did you both stab her? Or was it just your sister or was it you?

LT
No comment.

DS G
What happened to the knife? What did you do with the knife? Umm?

LT
No comment.

DS G
You've sat down, you've thought about what's going to happen. Your sister's discussed killing Alison with you. You give yourselves an alibi, you think you give yourselves an alibi, that's gone. You go to Vardens Road. You wait for a 21 year old girl whose never done anybody any harm, to get home. You walk in behind her, what did you say to Alison? 'We've come for John's pots?' Is that what Michelle said? 'We've come to collect John's pots?'

Because she let you in for the pots wouldn't she? 'Because she knew John was doing the flowers that night, her husband. And she knew Michelle helped to do the flowers. That's the sort of cunning that would get you into the flat of Alison's and your sister.. 'We've come for the pots.' Isn't it? She's picked her mail up in the hallway, got her bag on her shoulder, black bag, she's got a denim jacket over her arm. You follow her up the stairs.

She puts her mail down. And bang she's attacked. She had bruising under her nose, which could be from the fact of somebody coming behind her, putting their hand over her head, under her nose and pulling her back and stabbing her. You and your sister you've done jujitsu for 4 or 5 years. You know the defensive moves. You've worked with weapons had weapons training.

This has all been verified through your previous judo or jujitsu or whatever it's called, instructiors. We haven't just thought of these things today, there's been a lot of research done on this. And you stabbed her and stabbed her and stabbed her. She was left to die, her bag still there and the

DS G
jacket still wrapped around her. And you go back to the Clinic as though nothing had ever happened. 'Who is going to alibi us? JJ. JJ is our friend. She's fool enough to say yeah, we were there at 5.15.' JJ is a nice girl, but you know as well as I do, she's not the brightest of people. JJ is gone now Lisa, she's gone. You haven't got Lisa, er JJ any more. By the time somebody has spoken to your friend um,

WDC S
Tessa

DS G
Tessa, she'll be gone. You just have you saying where Michelle was and Michelle will be saying where you were. Not much of an alibi is it?

DS G
I've spoken to my Superintendent since I last spoke to you, interviewed you, and on his authority I am requesting from you a sample of blood and a sample of head hair. Mr HOLMES will no doubt explain the relevance of that to you once we've finished the interview.

But the reasons the samples have been asked for because it may or may not prove or disprove your involvement in Alison SHAUGHNESSY's murder. I can't forcibly take them from you, it's something that you yourself have to give consent to. And a doctor will take the relevant samples. Do you understand? I don't wish a reply from you at this stage.

MH
We can discuss that one yes.

DS G
You understood the question?

LT
Yes.

DS G
You've understood why I've asked for the samples? Fine.

DS G
I think that's quite a fairly relevant point to maybe stop Mr HOLMES.

MH
Yes.

DS G
Coren have you got anything to add?

WDC S
No not at this stage.

DS G
Any representations Mr HOLMES?

MH
No.

DS G
Anything you wish to say Lisa before I conclude the interview at this time?

LT
No.

DS G
I gave you forms this morning Mr HOLMES, I'll give you that.

MH
Right, I'll'put this on there.

DS G
Right. The time is 4.47. This interview is concluded.
